The Uline Corporation funded a brand-new pavilion for Rest Lake Park in Manitowish Waters, WI. The new pavilion includes a large fireplace, restroom facilities, comfortable seating, and many picnic tables for families to enjoy Rest Lake's beauty. This pavilion is a focal point for the local community as it provides access to the lake and hosts events such as Music in the Park, local ski shows by the Skiing Skeeters, and more. The shoreline along the pavilion was subject to many years of wave action and ice buildup, and over time these forces caused slope failure. Envirolok was chosen to rebuild the slope and create a sustainable solution along the lakeshore to withstand these erosive forces. With our bioengineered system, we created a shoreline that enhances the park's natural beauty while providing the protection the shoreline needs.
